Title: ‘Gareth’

A/Prof. Deputy Head of School, School of Molecular Bioscience, the University of Sydney
Gareth’s portrait was conceived in somewhat unusual circumstance when Gareth called the university eLearning helpdesk and Pamela answered the call. Pamela sketched Gareth’s portrait during the telephone conversation. She did not meet him in person or had seen a photograph of him before then. When Gareth saw the finished painting he was surprised by the likeness and enjoyed the portrait’s rendition.
